The SteelBook^™ team would like to congratulate Universal Pictures in Germany with the Video Champion Award for "Best Special Edition of the Year" (2009) for their GLADIATOR Blu-ray released in SteelBook^™ packaging.

The SteelBook^™ special edition GLADIATOR has been among the top 20 Blu-ray releases in Germany, according to Media Control GfK International. In week 41, it was the number 1 Blu-ray release.

Splinter Cell Conviction: Collector's Edition

On November 3, Ubisoft announced that it will release a Collector’s Edition for the upcoming release of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction™.

This exclusive edition of the game will be bundled with content and items that will not be found anywhere else. The Collector’s Edition will be available in stores on February 23, 2010.

Developed by Ubisoft Montréal, the game will be available exclusively for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PC.

Universal Pictures Sweden had a very creative way of promoting their SteelBook^™ Horizontal Wave for a Swedish retailer.
